Juveniles aren’t listed on Nebraska’s Sex Offender Registry, but a 12-year-old boy who recently moved to the state could end up there by the letter of the law.
His family is fighting the move, and a federal judge already has agreed to block the Nebraska State Patrol from adding his name and picture to the registry and public website while the civil case is pending. Full Article
So a child is too young to consent to sex, yet he/she is old enough to be charged as an adult if he/she does have sex??? Excuse me, I’m calling bullsh**!!!

Hell yes it does! For pity’s sake, the kid was 11 yrs old when the offense occurred!

I know for a fact the Nebraska State Patrol breaks the law and will place information on their registry anyway. They do what they want. They WILL put this kids’ name and info there.
Even if the courts demand it be taken down, it won’t be.
I know, because i’m on it now, even though i live in California. And it’s listing my absconding is actually a total lie. I was asked to check into California when i traveled from Nebraska, so i did.. and now i’m “absconding” according to them. They are idiots for sure there.
